Speed Racer was my favorite cartoon growing up in Lillian, Tx. back the 70’s, so I’m very fortunate that I was able to find a builder that could actually build a working Mach 5.  When you see this car it just makes you happy to see that it is real, but for me personally, it’s simply a dream come true.

The builder’s name is Mark Towle and is the owner of Gotham Garage in Temecula, CA. He also has the number one car reality show on Netflix called - Car Masters – Rust to Riches. Mark Towle is the car builder who also built the Mach 5 for the movie Speed Racer.

The Mach 5 is built on a C4 Corvette chassis and can drive around like an everyday car.
